·      44th National Congress of Rehabilitation 2021 in Romania

The 44th Annual National Congress of Medical Rehabilitation, also known as the eCare Congress, focuses on issues related to medical rehabilitation. Participants follow the sessions via srrm.ro, and the congress provides an opportunity for speakers to present live at the Hotel Escalade Poiana Brasov, with a focus on oral presentations, reports, and symposiums. The event places particular emphasis on the use of technology, as demonstrated by the option for PowerPoint presentations and video recordings. It also highlights the adaptation of the congress format to epidemiological conditions and current regulations.

·      7th National Symposium of GerontoPsychology

The Romanian Association of Clinical Psychology is organizing the 7th National Symposium on Gerontopsychology with the theme “Active Longevity and Psychological Resilience – Gerontechnological Protective Factors,” which will take place online (via Zoom) from November 19-20, 2021. This annual event, initiated in 2015, is conducted in collaboration with the National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics “Ana Aslan” and the Romanian Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics. The symposium is designed for psychologists, researchers, and other professionals interested in the specific field of Gerontopsychology, as well as those in the broader domains of Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy, Gerontology, and Geriatrics.

·      9th Smart Cities International Conference (SCIC)

The Speeding Up History conference encompassed a diverse array of topics, spanning cyberbiosecurity, sustainable corporate governance, and digitalization in public administration. It delved into urban resilience management, health security amid the COVID-19 pandemic, smart education, and the influence of religious authorities in cyberspace. The event explored technology’s role in sustainability, touching on subjects like smart cities and IoT systems for monitoring water parameters and reducing household water consumption. Discussions also unfolded around nonformal learning and the application of GIS solutions in the development of smart cities. eHealth is one of the major research topics that have been attracting cross-disciplinary research groups. The deployment of new emerging technologies for Health, especially based on Artificial Intelligence is attracting the interest of many researchers.

The workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Health – AI4Health 2022 – aims at bringing together researchers from academia, industry, government and medical centers in order to present the state of the art and discuss the latest advances in the emerging area of the use of Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing techniques, be they black boxes or explanation-based, to signals, images, and data in the fields of medicine, healthcare and wellbeinCo-located with the 22nd IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Internet Computing (CCGrid 2022)

The upcoming meeting is the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence – IEEE WCCI 2022. It is scheduled to take place at Padova Congress, a new conference center in Padua, Italy. ·      21st International Conference of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence

 

The twenty-first edition of the International Conference of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA 2022) is organized by AIxIA (Associazione Italiana per l’Intelligenza Artificiale), in Udine. The growth of research and interests in AI today requires that specific communities can meet and engage in focused areas of work. As the increasing number of targeted activities represents a wealth for the entire AI community, AIxIA 2022 hosts a series of dedicated workshops that will take place in the two days preceding the start of the Main Conference.

·      AI4Health Summer School – 3-7th July, 2023

 

The Interdisciplinary Institutes for Artificial Intelligence (3IA), including MIAI (Grenoble), 3IA Côte d’Azur (Nice), and PR[AI]RIE (Paris), in partnership with the Health Data Hub, announced the upcoming third edition of the AI4Health Summer School. This premier event will be held at PariSanté Campus in Paris from July 3rd to 7th, 2023, and will also offer an online participation option.

Program Overview

The AI4Health Summer School will delve into the cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science as applied to the healthcare domain. in collaboration with students from the Experience Design course. The development of virtual assistants capable of interacting with individuals to assist them in various situations, such as students experiencing anxiety or stress during their academic journey, or children undergoing speech therapy.

Moreover, the project aims to initiate a discussion on the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence use through a critical design project focusing on the theme of digital post-mortem.
